Great purchase! This gem has great audio and quality. Great for get togethers outside by a bbq or campfire just listening back to the music/etc.

I suppose it provides fair volume, but the balance is awful. It’s all midrange. Bass response is not bad, but it muddies and distorts the other frequencies (i.e. vocals). The result is a total lack of clarity. It always sounds like you left the speaker under a bucket or something; absolutely ruins most music. Maybe it would work just for basic sound effects, but if that’s the case you might as well just use whatever internal speaker the computer already has. I have a significantly smaller, equally-priced Bluetooth speaker that is light-years better than this thing.

I was looking forward to this FIODIO Mini Sound Bar arriving.
The lithium battery is a nice feature, it makes it capable of truly wireless operation when you use Bluetooth, at least for the two hours the battery lasts.
    10 watts is great, too.
It also feels well built. It’s got some heft to it. The grill is well made and should easily survive day-to-day abuse.
Unfortunately, all this is moot when you listen to it. I spent some time listening through both the aux input and Bluetooth. Rock, acoustic, classical.
The mid-range is loud and muddy, the highs are MIA, and the bass is boomy.
The stereo separation is lousy. Not that I expected much from a small sound bar, but, for some reason, the speakers are a few inches in from the ends, wasting what little spacing they might have had.
Listen off axis by much and the sound gets even muddier.
To be fair, there are a lot of folks who want bass, and the more the merrier. They will probably like this thing. It may be that FIODIO made it this way on purpose for that demographic. If, like me, you want to hear what the recording engineer did when he mixed the music, then this speaker is something of a disappointment.

The soundbar includes a manual, 5 foot micro USB cable and a 5 foot 3/32 mini-stereo to mini- stereo plug that will plug into most devices. At low volume, it sounds okay (a little tinny) but it doesn’t get very loud and bass is very weak. As you increase volume, it distorts easily. Sound quality is about as good as the cheap speakers in my 19 LCD TV. It is nowhere near high fidelity. Also, the volume on the sound bar is independent of blue tooth volume on your phone so if the sound bar is set to low volume, you can crank up the volume on the phone but it will never get very loud. The work-around is leave the sound bar at max volume and then adjust volume form your phone. Even this way, I still had to get the phone volume into the red area to make it reasonably loud. I’d say it is okay for voice and not very good at all for music.

    Pros:
    Nice black piano finish
Sticky silicone rubber feet grip well and won’t mar furniture
    Easy setup
    Internal battery
Aux input or connect via Bluetooth
    Sounds okay at low volume

    Cons:
    Under powered
Does not include power adapter (only power cable)

I use this as a speaker for my computer at my desk, but it is portable, has bluetooth, and can run on just its battery, so you can really put it anywhere. It connected easily to the bluetooth on my phone. It also comes with an Aux-in wire for direct connection to something like a computer. And the cord is quite long, so its more convenient for positioning. The included USB cord is for power/charging only and does not connect the audio. The buttons are on the side and pretty simple: power, +/- volume, and play/pause. There are 2 non-slip feet on the bottom.
The sound quality if very good for the size of the speaker, even at its highest volume. I was impressed with how much base comes through.
    The negatives:
When connected via the Aux-in line there is an ever-present hiss/static sound from the speaker. It is drown out when there is some sound/music playing, but when nothing is on, the static sound is a little annoying. The higher the volume, the worse it is. Playing with/moving the line affects it, but does not make it go away. I do not notice it when connected to something via bluetooth.
The sound volume goes plenty high, but not very low. Fortunately you can adjust the volume lower via whatever device you have it connected to.
There are no holes or clips to mount/hang it in anyway – its just designed to sit on a surface.

    Good sound, with minor negatives

This is a great little sound bar. It is small, but it is powerful! I’m using it primarily with my TV, and I can happily and gratefully hear it so much better.

The sound is clear and the volume is loud. It connects easily with Bluetooth or it can be plugged directly into the TV with the included auxiliary cord.

Music also sounds great through this sound bar. It is plenty loud!

  7. Katherin (verified owner)

I am impressed with the sound quality of this soundbar. I always hook it up with my phone or with my tablet and the sound is quite loud. Good sound, good size and good value, would definitely recommend

  8. Jeff P. (verified owner)

Nice hefty feel. Appears well made. Includes average quality micro USB charging cable and 3.5mm headphone jack extension cable. Effortless BT pairing. It will get louder than your typical laptop’s speakers but won’t sound much better, if at all. There’s no bass to speak of. Fair enough midrange for the price. Higher frequencies aren’t exactly abrasive, but sorry – you’d kick yourself if you bought this. Spend just a little more and you can do a whole lot better.

  9. KIMBERLY MILLER (verified owner)

Sound good. This sound bar has great sound with gets pretty loud. It takes about 3 hours to fully charge with a USB charger. Paired with my Samsung s20 plus easily. There is no option for bass adjustment. But overall i like the speaker.

  10. Melrel05 (verified owner)

I don’t understand why I’m having such a hard time finding a sound bar that works well with my sons all in one computer. I’m not even looking for the best sound ever or anything. I just need something that he will be able to hear his teacher talking clearly on. This is my 3rd attempt getting one and I’m 0/3.

I have the same issue with this sound bar as I do with the other 2 I recently got. It sound great when connected to my phone. It sounds great when connected to my iPad. Sounds great when connected to my laptop and my 2nd laptop. Yet when I connect it via Bluetooth or plug it into the Brand new all in one computer that was over a grande it has hissing and static. Apparently I’m going to have to let my son use my $300 Bluetooth speaker as it’s the only one I’ve tried so far that doesn’t do that. Oh well. As long as you don’t want to use this for a computer this should be great and I would recommend.

    PACKAGING AND DESIGN:
This small soundbar ships adequately protected with a tiny information leaf, micro- USB cable, and a line audio cable. The shiny black finish and front cloth makes it look more expensive than it is, and – unlike in the pictures – it has no branding/logo either! However, one design compromise is immediately apparent: the cables stick out straight from the back and there are no mounting holes. It is therefore exclusively meant to sit on a surface, 1 Вѕ away from a wall.

    CONNECTIVITY
The micro- USB port on the back of the unit is for charging purposes only; you will have to connect your computer via different means as well: either using the line audio cable, or Bluetooth. When you plug in the audio cable, it cuts off your Bluetooth connection, but you can toggle between the two with a simple power button press.

One thing to note is that with the aux connection, there seems to be an occasional hiss on the line, especially if you keep the sound bar volume at maximum in order to use your PC’s/phone’s volume control. It’s faint enough to not bother me in the least, and in fact may not even this product’s fault (but come from the cable or PC’s motherboard), so I won’t ding stars for it.

    SOUND
The major premise of this speaker is to sip the allowed 5 Watts via USB to charge the internal battery, then be able to deliver more power to the speakers temporarily. On that, I have to say mission accomplished: This soundbar sounds much better and more voluminous than my now decommissioned USB speakers, and it doesn’t buckle even when binge- watching for hours on end.

Overall, the sound isn’t of musical quality of course, which becomes apparent in a non- voice context quickly. It’s also not loud enough to serve as an actual sound bar for a TV; you will want this device to perform within a couple feet of you.

    VERDICT
Overall, I actually quite like this product: it’s a good- looking, inexpensive solution to my long search for simple and unobtrusive PC audio, and it connects to my phone for the occasional podcast, too. My major gripe is that I can’t nail it to the wall to save more precious desk space, but then again it wasn’t promising that.

  12. E&E0715 (verified owner)

This little sound bar packs one heck of a punch! The sound is amazing. It’s room filling, with plenty of bass. It is small enough for a backpack, but loud enough for a pocket. Absolutely brilliant! You can use it USB or line in, or bluetooth.

I futzed around with this for 45 minutes and could not believe the terrible sound I was getting…. I then used this on a different computer with a different aux cable than the one that came with it and it sounds MUCH better than it did when I originally tried it. I may have gotten a bad aux cable with this so if it really sounds terrible, try another cord or try the bluetooth.
For the price, it is ok. Nothing to write home about though. What I do like about it is that it is one piece and it is not bulky and if charged, uses only one wire so less tangles if you are using this wired. It does sound better than the built in computer speakers. I didn’t necessarily want this because of the bluetooth, but it is there. If connecting by cord to a computer, just remember to power off the speaker too when shutting everything down. This is rechargeable by a micro usb cable which is included.

I have an all-in-one desktop computer and the built-in internal speak is weak which makes it difficult to enjoy any sort of content whether be it watching videos or listening to music unless I’m wearing my headphones. I decided to try this speaker and immediately the sound was louder without having to put it up to max volume and it also had more base then the internal speaker and was very noticeable. This is a powerful mini sound bar. Pairing it to my desktop computer was very easy, you turn it on by long holding the power button on the speaker until the blue LED lights flash and then find the device under the bluetooth settings on the computer. That’s it. It connects instantly without any lag. It comes with an Aux in cable and a micro usb for charging which took about 2 hours. I had planned to keep it permanently plugged into the micro usb cord so that it can turn on and off with the computer but unfortunately the sound bar goes to sleep and turns itself off when not in use after about 30 minutes. This means I’d have to manually power it back on every time I want to use it which is a bit annoying. It is very sleek looking and fits right under my computer monitor perfectly. Overall, I’m quite happy with this sound bar despite the automatic sleep/shut off function. The user manual only explains the basics and doesn’t touch on the sleep function so there is room for improvements.

Ten watts and two-inch speakers (approx) won’t fill an auditorium or break windows, but this little marvel extracts more from that combination than one might expect, easily sufficient for an office, a bedroom or similar spaces. I’ve used mine while doing business tasks on our deck, during workouts, while entertaining both indoors and out, and in the garage, and been impressed with both the volume and quality of the sound. Dialog is crisp and clear, music is reproduced quite well, and stereo separation is good – on orchestral recordings or stereo movies imaging is stable and accurate. Bass is solid without being overpowering, faithful to whatever is being played without adding to it like many Bluetooth speakers.

Construction quality appears to be excellent; the appearance equals that of much more expensive speakers. The weight is well distributed so the speaker sits very stably on its non-slip rubber feet, and feels substantial when it is picked up and moved. The rear of the speaker holds the mini-USB power/charging port, the 3.5mm Aux-In port, and a recessed Reset button for the control electronics. On the right end of the speaker, four buttons arranged as quadrants of a circle control power on/off, play/pause, and volume up/down shared with track skip; each makes a distinct click when operated. As noted, the speaker can be continuously powered from the USB port, but I was very pleased with battery life on this unit – in one test session I played music quite loudly for over eight hours via Bluetooth, and it showed no signs of losing power – it was still playing loud and without noticeable distortion when my wife persuaded me to shut it off and come to bed.

The included accessories are one 3.5mm Aux cable, one USB cable (both are a useful five feet in length) and a very simple but clear and complete set of operating instructions. While the speaker does NOT include a charger/power supply, it works with any common phone-type USB charger. My unit came very well packaged, with fitted foam separators surrounding the (bagged) speaker inside a high-quality cardboard box.

I was very impressed with this speaker and have had several friends and co-workers ask where they can purchase one like it for themselves.

Easily paired, good sound for its size. Decent battery life. Great value for the money. May not fill up a large space (or outdoor area) with sound – but you’d never buy a bluetooth bar speaker for that anyway. A good combination of portable size and quality.

  17. Utah Mom (verified owner)

The sound bar is small but it does have some great sound. It is versatile and easy to use. I can hook my phone to it with the Bluetooth feature or use an auxiliary cord with my projector. It’s certainly not surround sound but it is definitely an upgrade from the regular speakers of my phone or projector.

  18. PEZRIC (verified owner)

    It’s okay, but not great.

The speaker bar came well packaged and shipped quickly. Unfortunately that’s the best I can say for this.

The sound quality is only okay. Poor bass and treble, and they don’t have a lot of volume. I wanted to use this to replace my PC speakers and unfortunately they didn’t sound any better.

They work okay for what they are intended by connecting to a cell phone but still they are not that loud or defined. The battery did seem to last a good while.

I would not use this for a TV sound bar.

I would save for a slightly more expensive but much better quality sound bar.

  19. Kim Cabrera (verified owner)

I thought this speaker would replace my old Bluetooth speaker, which finally quit working. I am pretty impressed with the battery life on this one. It lasted longer than I expected! It’s got really good sound quality for a small speaker. Relatively small. There are definitely smaller Bluetooth speakers. This one is a sound bar, so it is long and square in shape. I tried it with both Bluetooth and just plugging it into the AUX cable. There was no difference in the sound quality, in my opinion. I also tested the speaker at a distance from my device and sound quality held up. I moved it three rooms away and it was still fine, but the more walls between you and the transmitting device, the more the signal will cut out. You can adjust the volume on the device itself or on your transmitting device. I found the multi-function button to be a bit awkward to use at first. Once you get used to it, it’s easier to use. But I hadn’t used one like that before, so it took me a minute to figure it out. I also tested out this speaker with my Kindle to see how the sound quality is. It was great! The outer housing is plastic on three sides, with a sort of cloth covered area where the speakers are. It seems easy to keep clean, but you wouldn’t want to use water to clean the speaker part. Just wipe that part off with a cloth or something. I do not think this is waterproof, nor is it designed to be so. The size is perfect for sitting it behind my laptop and listening to music and podcasts. It also fits well on a windowsill or bookshelf. The speaker is narrow and long. There are rubberized feet on the bottom so it won’t slide around if you put it on a slick table surface. My overall impression is that this is a nice little speaker and a good value for the money. My favorite aspects of it are the excellent battery life, the ease of recharging it, and the nice sound quality. I think this one is worth the purchase price.

The Good: This is a good sound bar that produces good sound. Fits easily under my monitor riser. The bluetooth features gives the sound bar versatility.
The Bad: Nothing bad to say about the sound bar. It delivered as advertised.
The Skinny: Overall a good value. There are more expensive options out there that give comparable or lessor sound quality. Very happy with this product.

  21. Techie (verified owner)

This FIODIO Mini Sound Bar is really a speaker in the shape of a sound bar. And it delivers a good audio output, without the features usually included in a sound bar, like multiple input sources, and a remote control. The lack of remote control is important when one needs to lower the volume and has to cross the room in order to do so. That been said, it’s still a good option among speakers.

It offers a stable connection both wireless and wired, and it looks stylish too. I ordered it because I wanted a personal speaker to listen to streaming music, the news, and audiobooks from apps in my phone. And pairing with an Android phone is relatively easy and it stays connected even when I move my phone around the house.

The sound is clear, and good enough for reproducing sound in a small room, like an office, or a bedroom. Also, besides the Bluetooth connectivity, it has a 3.5mm audio port, and using the included 3.5mm male to male audio extension, one can connect any audio device with a compatible audio port. A Micro USB charging cable, without wall charger, and printed instructions are also included.

Packaging: The FIODIO Mini Sound Bar came in a corrugated shipping box and when I opened it I found a brown corrugated box that contained the soundbar a charging cable, auxiliary, and a user manual.

Details: The FIODIO Mini Sound Bar is 14-3/8 inches long, 2-7/16 inches wide, and 2-1/2 inches tall so it is small enough to sit on your computer desk, television stand or bedside table just keep in mind you will need approximately two additional inches in the back to plug in the USB charging cable or the auxiliary jack when they are needed. There is no visible branding on the soundbar only a sticker on the bottom has the FIODIO name. The soundbar was easy to pair to my computer, phone, and even to a Bluetooth transmitter I use on my television normally for headphones or earbuds. The sound quality is great even from something so small and light, not the soundbar does not even weigh a pound and three quarters. I listen to music and watch television and I also use these on the other side of the room where I have my computer so that the sound coming from the internal speakers on my computer is augmented greatly by using the soundbar. This is one of those times that I got so much more than I expected in an item and I recommend these due to the long run time, long standby time, and excellent clarity.

    Pros:
    Amazing clarity
    Bluetooth is easy to pair
Auxiliary jack so can be used with a line in

    Cons:
Not one that I have experienced

This little bluetooth sound bar is pretty nice. It works well and the sound isn’t too bad. I’ve been using the sound bar with the aux cable hooked up to a monitor to play video games. The sound quality is alright. It’s good enough that I can hear everything. When it comes to music the sound quality is good. It’s just a nice little sound bar speaker. It’s pretty loud too if you turn the volume all the way up. Overall this is a nice sound bar that sounds good.

I recently got rid of my old desktop PC and switched to a mini PC for the light work I need to do in my home office but, my old desktop got sound through speakers connected to the monitor (which I got rid of with the old PC) The new monitor I have doesn’t have built-in speakers so I needed to get a new set of speakers for this mini PC. I saw this and decided to try it.

It works great for playing PC audio. I’ve watched Netflix shows listening with this speaker while I filed papers and the sound was crisp, clear, and easy to hear even at lower settings. My son has actually played some games on the new mini PC down there while I’m working and the sound on the games was also very good.

I like that the size is pretty small and compact and it doesn’t really require any setup. It’s pretty much ready to use right out of the box and it’s plug-and-play. You cn adust volume settings and turn it on/off using buttons on the side (you can also use your device/comuters sound settings to increase or decrease volume).

For the price this is a really good deal in my opinion and it doesn’t take up a lot of deskspace and sits nice and neatly under the monitor for a nice clen set up. Because it’s just the one unit it doesn’t have a lot of cords running from power to left and right speakers to PC, etc… so there’s less cord mess on my desk too.

I really like this sound bar. I have used it as a Bluetooth device with my phone and with the audio cable with my television and my computer (neither of them have Bluetooth). I’ve watched both cable TV and movies with it as well as played my musical collections and online videos. My musical tastes have a very broad range (notice the name I use for reviewing). Every genre I listen to from multiple sources (online streaming, MP3, etc.) has excellent sound quality.

I just don’t think you’ll beat this price for this quality of this soundbar.

I am an unbiased reviewer, as’ you’ll see in my many other Amazon reviews. I simply cannot find anything negative to say about this soundbar at this price. Highly recommended.

  26. Fran Coleman (verified owner)

This sound bar is not as mini as I thought it would be, but that’s OK.
It is a perfect size for your computer, tablet, even your television.

It was incredibly easy and fast to set up via Bluetooth.

I like how it’s portable. I’ve brought it with me and have played music through it via my phone. It sounded great.
There was no issues of it sounding flat or tinny.

Another plus, is late at night I keep it on the bed with me, so I am able to play my television/movies at a low volume, and still hear it beautifully.

Which comes in handy if you live in any type of apartment building and the walls are not soundproof/thick.

Portability, ease of set up, the sound quality the quality/make of the speaker itself, equals a good deal & definitely happy with this item.

    Delivered 11-24-20.

Product worked great all day on 11-25-20.

Wake up 11-26-20 and there is a horrible static coming out of the speaker. Using a wired connection to my PC, so the first step is to reseat all cables, no change in static. Tested with a different device, no change.

As I don’t intend to use the speaker over blue tooth, I did not test this a method for resolving the sound issues. However, the static was coming out of the speaker with the aux cable unplugged, but in a powered state. I firmly believe it is the speakers themselves and nothing related to the connection.

Ordered/Received this unit a few months ago now as my home office laptop set up needed a sound upgrade. Unit is sleek and minimal without the distractions that some soundbars had when searching. The speaker connected to my laptops Bluetooth without issue and sounded wonderful! I then connected it to my monitors sound out and found that when using the aux in + the power cable, the unit picks up a noticeable hiss/static. If you are 100% Bluetooth, not an issue but a negative if your sound source doesn’t offer Bluetooth as an option and you are relegated to aux in. Seems to come from the power source as running the unit off the internal battery supply instead of usb power eliminates the hiss/static. Easily a 5 star item if the hiss/static wasn’t there.

We just bought a projector…and while it is awesome, we needed better speakers. This works PERFECT. Easy to use–just plugged in and boom: awesome sound. Kids loved it and worked better than expected.

Sound quality was underwhelming in thr front of my apt. Even as small as it is. I moved it to my bedroom which has an alcovey thing where I put it. Sound is better but not by much bec. it bounces of the walls I’m guessing. Not really a deal breaker bec. for the price it’s good enough. It easily connects to any Bluetooth device w/o needing an advanced degree to do it. It needs a remote. So there’s that.

The volume levels are good for the size of the speaker and the setup is Bluetooth so it was smooth. I am using it with my projector and sometimes music on my phone but I enjoy it.

I purchased this speaker to have at work to listen to music while I work. It has great sound quality, is easy to operate and I really like being able to charge it via USB.

Don’t waste money. It sounds terrible. No bass, mids and too much treble. Looks good but the reviews are false.

    Just what I needed!

You must turn it off and on, it won’t just come on and work when you turn on your computer. I got this small soundbar to replace my sparky speaker set. Unlike regular speakers, you must turn it off and on each time. It’s better than nothing, but only barely. The sound quality is adequate, but sometimes it gets static.

Not crazy about sound no bass

I like the size and portability a lot. Needs more base.

This is a excellent product and very happy with speaker for I need .

  42. Pitkeys (verified owner)

Defective. Came with no charger, no cable for charging, no audio cable, no instructions, no warrantee docs. So, obviously no quality control for the lack of these means its likely a defective product. Advise against buying this product. And the PDF doc on this Amazon page is defective and will not open on 3 wideband nets and computers. Big bad item, indeed. Deserves negative five review.

Great price. Gets super load compared to my computer speakers.

Looks great, except that there’s static with aux audio that I cannot get rid of.

I have a three-speaker system that’s 20 years old. Works great except the wiring is a mess. So I thought I’d upgrade…now upgrade BACK to my old speakers.

Beside static, the stereo effect is not nearly as good, I guess because I can separate my old speakers more widely.

Stopped working after a month of use.

Okay.. little confused, it’s been charging for about 4 hours now, red light has gone off.
Still can’t seem to get it to turn on, no blue light, no sound, nothing.
As soon as I plug it back in the light turns on for two minutes, and then back off. Also, no manual was included aside from the PDF above.
Will update with sound quality value and battery life once I get this thing online. Please help!

I have purchased bluetooth speakers before and have struggled to get them to connect. This one was a snap and has great sound for the money. I plan on using it to improve the sound of movies that I watch on my laptop. Can you get better speakers? Sure, but they will cost substantially more. It’s a pretty slick unit.

Sounds good for 20$ just sad it doesnt work for my pc without that annoying beeping noise.

These would great if they didn’t fall asleep. We tried calling Amazaon to see if its a feature we can turn off but we cant. We bought these so we could get alerts when we get an email or an instant messge within our office but if no sound comes out after awhile it will fall asleep therefore we dont get an alert 🙁

I got the product but how is this going to get recharged. There is not adapter that came with nor their is a manual in the box. It’s an incomplete product.

  51. FilmmakerInMyHeart (verified owner)

It doesn’t last long even while plugged into USB on tv. It makes a loud, annoying buzz in the middle of the night for low battery – I guess. If it stayed charged while plugged with USB it would be good but I don’t know why it doesn’t have a continued charge while plugged in.

Sound quality not great. But good for price.

  53. Jack D Dingler (verified owner)

It didn’t come with cables or manual.

The device shuts itself off, while bluetooth is in use, after about ten minutes.

To use it, you need to stay near and keep turning it back on.

Not many good things to say about this product. The sound has a lot of system noise when I turn it on or use it to play music in the background while cooking in the kitchen. This device is currently sitting in my closet about to be re-gifted at Christmas to someone I believe deserves a desk weight.

Worked great for a little and then all of a sudden stopped cutting on.

    Junk! Garbage, 0 quality!
